The Flint was a light two passenger Roadster made by The Flint Automobile Co. in Flint, Michigan from 1902 to 1904. Selling price was $850.00.

This American Automobile was designed by A. B. C. Hardy who was later general manager of the Marquette and then General Manager for Chevrolet.

The wheel base of the Flint Roadster was 72 inches with a standard track. Features included artillery wood wheels or wire wheels (shown below), three inch Diamond tires, elliptic springs, a large hood which was entirely vacant for storage, a wide 43 inch seat, black leather upholstery and can seat three people.

Additional features on the 1903 Flint Roadster was it’s rear mounted single cylinder engine that developed 8 horsepower. A transmission with two speed forward and reverse was used on this model. Total weight on this American Automobile was 1,100 pounds. Only 52 cars were produced by The Flint Automobile Co. and in 1903 was forced out of business trying to defend 50 patent lawsuits.
